Quiet Saturday Night

Morning, folks!

How were your Saturday nights?

Jason watched the UFC fights with friends while I opted to stay in and relax. I made 3-ingredient chocolate banana cups and enjoyed them with some white chocolate peppermint tea and a good book.  What a fabulous night!

FITNESS
Jay and I slept in until 7a and headed to the gym with my brosef-in-law.  They lifted shoulders while I did more of a HIIT workout inspired by Spartan Race WOD:

  • 100 m hard run + 50 m brisk walk (Repeat for 8 min.)
  • 15 burpees
  • 5 pull-ups
  • 50 crunches
  • 15 box jumps
  • 5 pull-ups
  • 50 bodyweight squats
  • 15 burpees
  • 5 x 25-ft bear crawls
  • 50 walking lunges
  • 15 box jumps
  • 5 x 25-foot bear crawls

My chest was still sore from the other day’s chest and tricep workout, but I finished the circuit in 25:45.

How quickly can you do it?  ;)

Well, we’re off to church!  Will be back later for breakfast and a good, quality quiet time.
